Meet the team
David Starkey & Michael Brown - Directors
Having worked together as colleagues for many years, David & Michael founded Starkey & Brown Estate Agents in December 2005. With the help of their fantastic staff and their ‘hands on’ approach to dealing with the day to day running of the business, the company has grown from strength to strength from the first day through until the present.
David, who was born in Scunthorpe, has a wealth of estate agency experience, predominantly in Lincoln, but also in Boston, London and even in the USA!! He is married with three children, likes travelling and has recently taken up cycling. Another of David’s passions is surfing, which he likes to do as regularly as possible, at various coastal points around England, even in the winter!!!
Michael was born in Middlesbrough however has lived in Lincoln since he was 3 years old. He has excellent knowledge of the local area, having spent the majority of his career working in the city, although he did enjoy a 2 year spell working in Sleaford. His keen interests are travelling, watching and playing football, and has recently joined David in taking up cycling. Michael also likes to keep fit, and in April 2011 took part in the Lincoln 10km road race, raising over £300 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
David & Michael firmly believe in good honest estate agency, and giving their customers sensible and straight forward advice.
