Earlier this year Lincoln resident Keith Ellick was given the devastating news that the cancer he had been fighting was terminal.
The 41-year-old’s tragic story made the national newspapers when his boss Addam Smith paid for Keith and his family to go on holiday so he, and 50 volunteer tradesmen, could surprise him with a DIY SOS style transformation.
Keith, pictured with his children, had only asked Addam, who is company director of ALS Fencing and Landscaping, to fix his broken fence, but Addam decided to do so much more for his friend and colleague.
Along with the renovation, Addam has set up a fundraising campaign which has already raised more than £35,500.
The money raised will go towards buying Keith’s property in Ermine for his family.
Starkey&Brown has teamed up with Addam and will be helping towards this fantastic cause by donating £1,000 for every property we sell in Ermine throughout 2016.
If you live in the Ermine area and are thinking of selling your property, you too could be contributing towards Addam’s fundraising campaign when you instruct Starkey&Brown to sell your home.
